Ready, Set, Organize

What you are about to see is not pretty. 

I usually pride myself on my organizational skills; however, school has done a number on what I once considered to be the most comforting space in my house, my office.

Unfortunately, as made evident below, my desk has evolved into an overflowing mess of card stock, loose files, books, boxes, and binders. I had originally intended on doing a before and after post on this subject, however, competing priorities have slowed the after portion of the process. So, in an attempt to shame myself into taking the time to re-organize, I am posting the before shots now.

Okay, here we go. 

On the outside, things don't look too bad. 

But, on the inside...

(Kids, close your eyes.)

I know, I am embarrassed for me, too.

In the opposing corner, you will find another deceptively tidy work space. 

Don't be fooled:

I hereby pledge to post the after shots no later than Sunday, January 22. 

(I feel like I just stepped out of a confessional.)
